Brodie is a clinical psychologist. He has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology, and a PhD focused on optimising psychological wellbeing. In addition to private practice, Brodie has experience working in a variety of settings, including psychiatric hospitals, high schools, alcohol & drug rehabilitation services, veteran-specific services, and research and teaching roles at university.

Therapeutic Approaches
Brodie's approach as a psychologist is curious, collaborative, and compassionate. He aims to help clients develop the courage to live their lives in authentic, autonomous, and meaningful ways, and overcome the hurdles to this purpose-driven living. Brodie tailors his treatment approach to the individual and draws on a variety of evidence-based therapies, including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Schema therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR)
- Motivational interviewing
Background Information
Outside of his work, Brodie likes to stay active with running, weight lifting, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and paddleboarding. He enjoys reading philosophy and history, camping, being out in the bush, watching rugby league, and playing the Irish whistle.
